Mrs. Rogers

Education/Certification: Integrated Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education

Mrs Morgan Rogers has been a part of the Brookfield family since 2013. Initially starting out as an assistant, she is overjoyed to have the honor of teaching Junior Kindergarten this year. Mrs. Rogers, a Reno native, graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno (Go Pack!) with her degree in Integrated Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education. In addition to her bachelor’s degree, Ms. McKenzie holds Nevada State certifications in Elementary Education (K-8) as well as E.C.E. She is also working on completing her Master’s degree through Arizona State University, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education.

Mrs. Rogers believes that fostering all areas of a child’s development is critical to the learning process. In order to do so, she ensures that visual and performing arts, dramatic play and academics are well balanced throughout her student’s daily schedule.

In her free time, Mrs. Rogers loves to spend time with her family, her boyfriend of 12 years and their golden retriever, Harlow. She also loves to adventure outdoors, go to the gym, explore on Pinterest, as well as decorate her house (and her classroom)!
