For the security and safety of your children, all parents/guardians should have security gate key cards to obtain access to the school campus. Please note that these key cards will access the front and back gate from 7:30 am – 8:30 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Anyone visiting the campus during school hours must enter school through the front gate and check in with front office personnel. If you do not have a key card, you may purchase one in the front office.

If your child brings a lunch from home that requires heating up, please label your containers. We have dozens of students who bring items requiring microwaving and they often forget what they bring. Labelling items will significantly reduce the amount of time students are waiting for their lunches and prevent students from eating others' lunches. The lunch staff thanks you for your cooperation!

We make every attempt to accommodate children with special dietary needs, as well as to provide healthy treats for all of our children. To help us accomplish this goal, we would like to suggest an alternative to sugary birthday treats. Some suggestions might be a party favor, an arts and craft project, or a donation of a favorite book to the classroom or library in your child's name. Healthy treats such as a fruit or veggie tray might also be considered. Before planning birthday recognition, please check with the teacher as it will be scheduled during the last few minutes of the day. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Attention Parents with students in Violin Class:

In order to save time in class and get as much violin playing in as we can, the violin teachers have decided to leave violins on the hooks instead of using class time to pack them up. This means when you pick up your student from school on Thursday or Friday (Wednesday for students who have violin M/W) please ask your student to pack up their violin in the case and bring it home.

When the violin returns on Monday morning, it will save a lot of class time if you or your child takes a minute to unload it from the case and hang it on the hook so it's ready to go when we start class. 15-30 minutes of practice over the weekend is required for all students enrolled in violin. Please check your student's violin binder and help them complete the practice sheet.

If you have any questions regarding at-home practice, Ms. Bauer is always glad to take your questions ( Parents are welcome to visit violin class in the morning as well.
