Brookfield School's 2016 Annual Awards Night is on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Siena Hotel, located at 1 Lake Street in Reno. Please note that TLC will be closing childcare this day at 4:30 pm and Main Campus will be closing at 5:00 pm to enable our families and staff to attend the event.

Important Information for All Parents: Since convenience and the quality of our school are of the utmost importance, we are always seeking ways to make improvements to benefit everyone. Are you ready for an online portal to review tuition and other charges? After much research and investigation, we have partnered with FACTS Management Company to help us manage our tuition payment program and financial aid assessment. FACTS is used by many schools locally and over 6,500 schools nationally. We are excited to be working with them and are confident this program will offer greater efficiency while providing convenience to families.

Brookfield School is improving the business side of our school. By taking advantage of the security and convenience of payment processing offered by FACTS, all families will gain have access to easier to payment methods and billing.

    You will realize these benefits by using FACTS for your tuition payment plan:
  1. Payment Date: The 10th of each month is the monthly payment date. Automatic payments can be made from a checking or savings account or from a variety of credit cards, if applicable.
  2. Enrolling in FACTS: You need to enroll in FACTS by going online or completing a FACTS paper agreement form (if applicable). . All families must enroll in June.
  3. Convenience & Security: Along with multiple payment plan options, your payments are processed securely through a bank to bank transaction.
  4. Consumer Account: You may check your personal account or make payments online (if applicable) from the convenience of your home or office anytime.
One of the universal challenges in education is achieving a balance between our educational mission and customer service. It is precisely for this reason we are enlisting the help of the FACTS Management Company. With FACTS, the school maintains decision-making control. As always, we will continue to work with families should special circumstances or "hardship" cases arise during the school year.

We are very excited to announce that we will begin offering a very limited number of Community Scholarships to new families to build our Middle School population. These Community Scholarships will go to new students in the 5th – 8th grades who possess great character and academic leadership. We welcome our existing families to refer friends to be the first to apply for these scholarships. You will receive a referral fee if any of your friends enroll at Brookfield School. The last day of school at Main Campus and Middle School is Friday, June 17th for one hour with all grades reporting to their classrooms at 9:00 am. All students should be picked up by 10:00 am. Limited childcare for Main Campus / Middle School students may be available at TLC with a minimum enrollment. Please contact the front office if you need care after 10:00 am.

We are very proud to announce that Brookfield School has received the rights to the award-winning musical production of The Lion King. This will be the full school production, including the music, props, and scenery (which means there will also be plenty of art time with Ms. Reid!). We welcome all future superstars and artistic geniuses to the auditions. Campers will create and roar their way through the summer in this 4-week program. There will be two sessions offered over summer, weeks 1-4 and weeks 5-8. Each group will be putting on a full production during the last week of the 4-week program; students will need to be signed up for all four weeks of the session to participate.


PTA BOARD 2016/2017: We are looking for individuals who would like to volunteer for the PTA board for the 2016/2017 school year. Please contact the PTA if you are interested in serving.

PTA MEETING: The next PTA meeting will be held on Monday June 6th at 3:00 pm at Main Campus. We will be holding elections for the PTA board for the 2016/17 school year. We hope that you can join us!

END OF THE YEAR PARTY: Save the date! The end of the year celebration will be on June 16th from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Bartley Ranch. More details to follow.

There will be face painting, a bounce house, and horse rides.
(Parents must be in attendance for children to ride the horses)
Port of Subs and Ice Cream will be provided by the PTA.
Please don't forget to bring sunblock!
Parents who are attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Permitted students in 2nd – 8th grade will be walking to and from the park with their teachers. TLC, Pre-1st, and 1st grade students must be accompanied by a parent to attend the party.
