Elementary CAMPUS/MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS

We would like to welcome Mrs. Dunham to the Brookfield elementary campus! Mrs. Reanna Dunham is a Florida native who moved to the Reno area last October. She is excited to be joining the Brookfield family as the new Reading Specialist and Computer Teacher. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, as well as TESOL endorsement. Mrs. Dunham has over five years of experience as a homeschool teacher for various families in the Jacksonville community and before moving, was teaching 5th grade English Language Arts in the public school system. Firmly believing that all students have their own unique potential, she strives to bring out the best in every individual through a positive and nurturing learning environment. In her spare time, Mrs. Dunham enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking and spending time with her husband. Welcome Mrs. Dunham!

The 3rd grade classes are holding a food drive to help local families during this holiday season. Beginning today and going through Thursday, December 15th, we are asking for each student to bring in at least two non-perishable food items. There will be milk crates in each classroom and a surprise reward for each student who brings in two items.

Thursday Lego League will now meet in the Art Room (Room 2/3) every week.

Thanks to the PTA and Pioneer Performances. Ask your child about the great visit last week. They performed the Grinch who stole Christmas music.
