What We Are Learning

Though the weather outside doesn't seem to agree, it is spring and we are willing it to be so here at TLC! We are learning about plants, how they grow, insects, and flowers! Each classroom is enjoying their insects and watching they grow and change. If you need a little sunshine that you can't find outside, swing by your child's class to take a look at their beautiful spring art!

A Few Reminders:

As the sun begins to shine (we hope) please bring your child to school with sunscreen already applied. In addition, please provide the classroom with another bottle of your child's preferred sunscreen; labeled with their name, that teacher can reapply in the afternoons.

Please remember to bring a water bottle, labeled with your child's name, to school each day.

Summer Camp:

Please see our website to enroll in our fun and exciting summer camp program! If you have any questions regarding this program or the schedules, please see Mrs. Jacobson!

We are looking forward to the annual PTA Teacher Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, May 11th. Donate what you can - $10, $25, $50, anything is greatly appreciated. There are envelopes in each classroom, or you can drop off a sealed envelope in the front office. Thank you for your support!

We have an EXCITING contest starting! All students from Pre-1st to 7th Grade are invited to enter a design contest for the 2017 Jog-A-Thon T-shirt! Please submit an 8 1/2 x 11 sized paper drawing showing your school spirit! Please keep the lines thick and clean so the design can be easily screen printed, and keep the theme Brookfield-related (preferably Jog-A-Thon related!). Please make sure students sign their names on the back of the paper to keep our vote anonymous. The winner will be recognized at the start of next school year and will have his/her design forever memorialized on the Jog-A-Thon shirt! Mr. Sherven has already placed his entry in the contest, so we hope your drawing can beat his (it can).
